What are the differences between a retainer search and contingency search?

The most obvious difference is in the fee structure. With a Retained search, a small percentage of the fee is paid in advance to secure a high level of commitment and allocation of our resources for your important search. With a Contingency search, the total fee is paid after successfully placing a candidate. Because of the inherent risk involved in contingency search, we cannot provide the same high level of service as we can with a retained search.
