A retainer search is defined as an exclusive project undertaken on behalf of a client to identify and screen suitable candidates for a position of strategic importance to an organization. This typically includes searches for mid to senior level executives as well as senior level technical professionals with highly valuable skills. A retained search will produce a carefully screened short list of well-qualified and interested candidates. A portion of the fee is paid upfront with the balance paid when the search is completed. For a retained search, we will perform a comprehensive hirnig need analysis and follow a structured process to yield superior results for you.

Contingency search is typically used for positions that require more commoditized skills that are widely available in talent market. The focus is on active candidates and light referral networking. The search firm receives payment only if they successfully fill the position. For a contingency search, we will use your job description as qualifying guide and provide you with as many potential candidates as possible.

Most of ITeego’s recruiting assignment are at the senior developer and IT manager level and are therefore conducted on a retainer or exclusive contingency basis.
